What if the Germans during WWI were willing to sacrifice or exchange territory with one Entente member to get it out of the war so it could better resist and seek to defeat the remaining Entente powers:
Here's one idea:
Focus on France:
Offer to cede Alsace-Lorraine in exchange for France dropping out of the war and demanding British, French and other Allied forces to leave France, and for a return of any colonial territory the French occupied in Kamerun or Togo. Furthermore, France pledges to not support remaining Entente belligerents when it quits the war, and to not interfere with the German-controlled sphere in Belgium and eastern Europe.
Basically, the Germans in this case are planning to compensate themselves for the lost Alsace-Lorraine by annexing Belgium (and they'll try to conquer that last little part) and selected territories in the east while dominating the remainder of Europe east or north of France with a string of allied, puppet or friendly neutral states.
