During the first schleswig war, prusso-german forces were advancing through danish Jutland. However, they were stopped short by the danes after their wave of advancements. During this bogging-down, the european powers took opportunity to make condemnations to the prussians and the revolutionaries in Schleswig-Holstein.
But what if the german advance was never halted, be it to incompetence of danish officials during the Battle of Dybbøl or something similar, or be it to more luck towards the germans? Would they be bold enough to make more advancements and end up defeating Denmark? If they manage to force Denmark to capitulate and cede Schleswig-Holstein, would the opposing powers declare war on the German Confederation?
