WI: German Victory at the Marne and a Defeat in Tannenberg

What if von Moltke didn't panic and send two corps to the east, allowing the Germans to keep a substantial force close to Paris, achieving a victory at the battle of Marne, meanwhile the Russians are more lucky and win at Tannenberg. How would it change the WWI Frontlines ?

What is the scale of the victory and defeats? A Germany that seizes Paris and retreats in good order out of East Prussia is drastically different from a Germany that merely holds a salient over the Marne while losing armies in East Prussia.

Is this a mistype or do you mean two years after the Marne the Germans win at Verdun?

Can we assume the war would take the same course with a significantly different frontline, far nearer the capital of a major WAllied Power?
