One of the more popular AH scenarios regarding 19th century Germany is one where Frederick III lives longer. But what if it is his father, old Wilhelm I, who lives longer instead? He was already very old of course, but another five or six years shouldn‘t be impossible. So lets say he dies in 1893 or 1894 instead of 1888. What impact does his longer reign have on Germany domestically, and in terms of foreign policy? Will Bismarck stay chancellor until Wilhelm‘s death? Are there any major events in that time that would go different compared to OTL, where Wilhelm II was emperor?
