WI: George Washington and Benedict Arnold swaped roles?

How about something as simple as the British winning the war? Through whatever means (more attention focused on the Revolution vs. anything else, France pulling out/never going in).

Washington is automatically a traitor to the British, having led the armies against the King and all that. He's probably villified for centuries because of that.

Arnold might be given more respect by the British, especially if he helps them win the war after their betrayal. He becomes a great loyalist Governor in the Colonies and is seen as a hero for stopping the rebellion.

I think her intentions here are to make Arnold Become the First President of the USA, though.

Well yes. but you don't have to be historicly correct with it. basiccly what where saying is what if Washington's personality was born with Arnold's personality and vice versa. how that would change history ? is what where asking. and change it would make Arnold the American Hero is History Books and Washington the traitor

Yes, it's worth asking. However, you need to consider the butterflies, Washington's from 1732 and Arnold's from 1740, when asking. It's highly improbable, even ASBish to just plop the altered G.W & B.A. down into the Revolutionary War w/o considering what butterflies had occured before hand. It's also highly improbable, and certainly ASBish to just send these altered men down the path that the other trod in OTL. If I may be so bold, how about asking a question like:
"What becomes of George Washington and Benedict Arnold if, after a successful Revolutionary War, Washington is remembered as 'the man who nearly lost us the war' and Arnold is remembered as 'the Father of Our Nation'?"

Or, present an Alternate history challenge:
"AHC: Have George Washington remain a loyalist before, during and after the Revolutionary War and have Benedict Arnold be and remain a staunch Patriot throughout and after it."
