WI: General Evert follows his orders during Brusilov Offensive

During the Brusilov Offensive, General Alexei Evert was ordered to attack the Germans but he delayed which allowed the German High Command to send reinforcements to Austria-Hungary and thus stop the Russian's advance. Brusilov depended on Evert to attack in order to reinforce his overextended forces. However, Evert continued to delay his attack until finally on the 18th when he launched a poorly prepared offensive and was driven back. My question is: How much different would WW1 be if Evert attacked? Would the war really be over by Christmas? Would the Russians survive to sign the armistice? Would the Austrians collapse? Would Romania be counterattacked?

It would be the usual problem with WW1 offensives. The Russians would be moving further away from their railheads and supply depots, the CPs falling back on theirs. So the offensive is still halted, just a bit further west than OTL. After which in all likelihood you get a counterattack against both Russia and Rumania.
