WI: French Bangkok

In 1687, France was given control over Bangkok by king Narai of Ayutthaya. The French lost control over the city during the Siamese revolution in 1688.
What if the Siamese revolution never happens or is crushed in it's infancy and France keeps control over Bangkok? How would this affect France and Ayurrhaya?

It doubt maintained control of Bangkok is possible : too few forces (some hundred), a complete reject from Siamese population, a point relatively isolated while France is undergoing several costly wars.

Admitting, for the sake of discussion, that French power is maintained (More likely than Siamese defeat during the siege, having french expedition taking back the city), it would need to be supported by taking places on Malasya peninsula (Songkhala is mentioned on the wiki page) with control of Bangkok countryside and Chao Phraya's mouth.

How are the French getting past the British and Dutch at the Straits of Malacca and Sunda? And how ever they are doing it, will they be able to continue doing it ITTL?
