what if George II's eldest son Fredrick did not die how would have the American Revolution played out and other things have played out?

The UK was not an absolutist monarchy any longer. Yes the crown had influence but ultimately parliament ran the show by and large. The King was just 'front of house'.

I have always thought of Farmer George as basically quite a nice modest chap for the office. Now Georgie Porgie; that's another story.

To make a difference I would suggest looking at France and some change whereby France does not supply gunpowder or interfere with the Royal Navy.
