WI Francis I. of Austria die during Napoleonic wars?

Let say that first emperor of Austria die sometime during 1806/7 (by accident or illness). Who will be his successor? His infant son? Or one of his brothers?
Would Francis death affected invasion in Spain or Napoleons breach with papacy? Would there be war of 1809? (ok, that depends on formers) Could became Austria Napoleons ally? (I mean real ally, not wavering "half puppet")

Are you proposing before or after the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire? Cause that might factor in. I could see Napoléon claiming that the French Empire is the successor state to the HRE. The most likely state of affairs would be a regency for young King Ferdinand V (not sure about the imperial title) under the dowager empress (and if the HRE hasn't been dissolved yet - the pro-French elector of Saxony and the equally pro-French elector palatine of the Rhine (aka the king of Bavaria)) and probably the duke of Teschen or a sort of council of regents made up of the late Franz II's brothers.

Point of order: the Imperial title wasn't hereditary: it was, strictly speaking, electoral. If it happens early enough Nappy might very well seek legitimacy in the eyes of the Germans and a nice Revolutionary/Republicanizing feather in his cap by getting the pro-French electors to bestow the title on him and "reform" the Imperial structure to reflect that of Revolutionary France as a kind of federal "crowned republic". That would, in theory, give him a recognized/legitiment title that would knock out some of the usurper justifications his enemies were using.
