WI:France won the 7 years war

Yeah,like the title says.

What will happen?

how. The french were bound to lose new france. They were also bound to lose in India. As for Europe they may have been able to beat Prussia with Austria and if Russia hadnt betrayed them. The best I can see is a negotiated peace for france at the time. New france goes to Britain like otl, however perhaps their is slight border changes in europe. You could see a partition of Prussia beetween Russia, Austria, and France so as to end it as a credible hreat.

The problem is France could win in Europe but they simply could not win the colonial war in essene so not much really changes.

Why...........................

France couldn't win the colonial war, in terms of gaining territory. It could keep what it had though, at least most of it for a while. If if could achieve a convincing victory on the continent it could exchange territories in Europe in the peace negotiations, happened all the time back then. Still i agree with Frederick the odds are against France in the colonial race.

Yeah, I think it's entirely plausible that France could hang on to New France in the 7 years war, though the colony is going to be increasingly vulnerable in future wars. Don't forget that the British already hold Newfoundland and the other islands off the Canadian coast.

Why...........................

Demographics and economics.

The population of New France in the 1760s was roughly 50,000 while the population of the UK's North American colonies was roughly 1.5 million. The economies of the UK colonies were also more diversified and robust.
