WI: France never abandons the Cult of Reason?

Is it possible for the belief system to survive the Revolution and continue even into Napoleon's rule?

No. The cult of reason had little popular support among the people or even the revolutionary rulers, so it would be more of a pain in the ass to try and retain it then to abandon it.

What about the Cult of the Supreme Being that followed it up? Would that have a chance to be more popular?

The Republic found itself in dire straits because of its antagonism of the Catholic Church. I can't see France being able to survive if it decides to alienate its already alienated rural provincial population with something that was thought to be heretical by some and downright ridiculous to others. Catholicism had been in France for over a millennium and wasnt going away.
