The First Vatican Council produced two constitutions, Dei Filius and Paster Aeternus, the most important section in these being that on the dogma of papal infallibility. If the Council hadn't been interrupted by the Italian invasion of the Papal States in 1870, how do you good people think things would have progressed? I assume further dogmatic constitutions would have been produced, but what would they have been about? Also, was anything written down about further planned points of discussion?
