The Yalta Conference (in Feb. of 1945) between the 'Big Three' of Churchill, FDR, and Stalin, essentially decided the fate of post war Europe and it's boundaries. It seems to be the opinion of historians that because of FDR's failing health, he made poor decisions and basically that Stalin took advantage of him.

So, what if FDR died right before the Yalta conference (say, around the 1st of February, and Truman were there in his place? I'd imagine that the conference would be delayed a week or two, but still go on.
