WI: False dimitri is successful?

So what if the first false dimitri had a much more better time ruling Russia and didn’t marry someone that made the people Russia overthrow him. Could he have started a successful dynasty?

In what specific ways would you like him to be a better ruler? I mean it's a bit fuzzy to me why people considered him a bad ruler to start with other than him being a puppet of a foreign intervention. And Polish troops were necessary for his reign, with or without Marina.

Finally, his legitimacy was in claiming to the Dmitri Ioannovich, so he wouldn't be starting a "new" dynasty but claiming to be continuing the Rurikid line.

When I said better I meant that his time ruling went better not that he was better at ruling. And I just said new dynasty because it seemed more grammatically correct since he probably wasn’t actually the real dimitri, no one in the scenario would say that it’s a new dynasty.
