WI: Even More Successful Islamic Golden Age

The Islamic Golden Age was roughly between 750 AD to 1258 AD. During this time the Islamic world and the whole world because of the advancements of the Islamic world had a period of profound technological, scientific and societal advancements. What if, the Islamic Golden Age had been even more successful? I honestly don't even know what that entirely means, just what if more advancements had been made in Philosophy, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Education, Art etc. what would that entail and what affects would that have on the world? Plus, how would this happen?

I think the problem was that the muslim world didn't use alot of their own inventions and ideas, for example the camera or torpedos.

Yeah I read about that. If they actually used their inventions then the Islamic Golden Age could have definitely been more successful, likely leading to even more advancements after finding the flaws in their designs.

The best kind of invention would be some new 'method of irrigation' or some domesticated plant that could deal with salt on ground. Desertification and Soil Salinization is disaster that turn ME from prosperousness of ancient Mesopotamia to desert in modern times.

IMO Building on the ideas of Aljazari alone could have started industrialization.

Yeah I've read about that, the Muslims were right on the border of having an early industrial era had they looked further into a few thing, one of them being the works and ideas of Aljazari.

Might as well include this on the same post. Food and Industrialization go hand in hand because of the way Urbanization works. Had the Muslim world found a better method of irrigation we might be far more advanced then we are now giving us a much earlier Industrial Era.

No destruction of Baghdad by Mongol Empire ? The univerity had a tradition of learning and " enlightment". Jews and Christians worked there to, Aristotelan thinking was cultivated.

Necessity may not be the mother of invention, but it is the mother of adoption.

A lot of peoples were. I'm certain if we could examine it, we'd find populations on the verge of agricultural revolution who took a step away time and again in our history.
