WI: European war in 38?

What would have happened if the British did not agree to Hitler's claims in the Sudetenland? Could Czechoslovakia defend properly their country with a French attack on Germany or is this highly improbable?

From what I have read, Czechoslovakia had a good defensive system with a competent army. Perhaps if Poland had realised that the fall of Czechoslvakia meant they were the next target, they would have supported the war.

Could Poland, France, Britain and Czechoslovakia beat Germany easily in 1938?

in one word.. YES...

the whole idea of it was that hittler prayed in secret that the allies would do nothing as he preemptively attacked everyone one by one...

yes Poland fell quick. but it did put up a fight and a decent one at that..
France alone could have intervened at anytime in 38 and the Germans would have said.. ooops our bad...

Britain isnt getting involved unless France is attacked first or something of that nature..

The German blitzkrieg depended on offensive surprise.. not defensive damn were being attacked surprise
