WI European powers funded Native American insurgencies against the US?

In colonial times you actually did have European powers French/British etc use the natives to wage their colonial fights. What if post ARW you had certain European powers providing the natives with arms and certain funding's in an attempt to keep the US down.

You'd get a very upset United States with a bigger and better equipped military. The Native Americans would get hammered just as bad of not worse than in OTL. Post conquest treatment of the native population could actually be worse.
Whoever supported the Native Tribes would be in for some serious payback the next time they find themselves facing a colonial revolt or in an actual War.

The British did that during the War of 1812 by allying with Tecumseh's confederation which ended in failure. The British are the only European power capable of doing that and as the US expands and grows it simply becomes not worth the effort since it's better for the British to keep the US as a friendly trading partner instead of an enemy.

This doesn't end well for the Natives.

It goes back further than that, doesn't it? The British, French, and Spanish pitted their native allies against each other again and again.

Well, during the Trent affair (If it goes hot)? Or a US- French war over Mexican occuoation ? Maybe French try to anticipate insurgencies ?

Yep. There's a reason the Seven Years War is called the French and Indian War in the United States.
