WI Entente wins WWI before October 1917, most likely postwar alignments?

I think Russia would be a basket case and shorn of much territory so not much use to anyone for some time. As such I think France and Britain will make their alliance closer and most likely bring Italy in as well to offset the contiguous continental power of Greater German Mitteleuropa.
Wrong thread?

You offer too many possibilities to make this manageable. The outcomes will vary by how and when the Entente wins. Any Entente victory after the Tsar's fall is likely to leave Russia splintered and not a factor in European politics. Its hard to see how the Duma is controlling Russia let alone Poland

As for an Entente victory before 1917: Again, what are the peace terms and who has joined. A peace in 1916 is likely to look much different than one in 1914-5. An early victory will leave a peace dictated by France and Russia with Britain having little say in things.

What happens to the Austrian and German navies? What is left off Germany? If Germany is a small band of splintered states, Britain and France might get together. If Germany survives enough that it could become a threat to France, then France and Russia stay united

Just too many possibilities. Narrow it down
