What if Song Shenzong defeated Western Xia and drove the Tangut out of Gansu or conquered them entirely?

It would have huge ramifications on the subsequent history of Song. How might it effect, for example, the Jin invasion?

If they are driven out we might see more sinic influenced states in Central Asia like Western Liao. Though since its early enough we might see Western Xia take the place of Western Liao, since it would predate it by a bit.

If the Song can capitalize on this success and move northeast to subjugate Liao there is a strong possibility that not only will the Jurchen's not rise to their seat of power, but the Mongol Invasions and Turkic Migrations of the 12th-14th century will be fundamentally altered as to be unrecognizable.

A strong Song Dynasty may continue with its industrialization, for the few people interested in that kind of POD.
