I've been recently reading up on Mexican History, and wondering about wether it was ever possible for Emilio Zapata/Pancho Villa to have become President.
Obviously, Emilio Zapata was never in the running for the Elections, and Pancho Villa never developed a revolutionary philosophy, but if he had adapted the Zapatista philosophy, is it plausible that he might have been able to form a coalition with Emilio Zapata and win the Civil War, or backed him if he had managed to contest the Election?
