WI: Emilio Zapata as President in 1908/1910?

I've been recently reading up on Mexican History, and wondering about wether it was ever possible for Emilio Zapata/Pancho Villa to have become President.

Obviously, Emilio Zapata was never in the running for the Elections, and Pancho Villa never developed a revolutionary philosophy, but if he had adapted the Zapatista philosophy, is it plausible that he might have been able to form a coalition with Emilio Zapata and win the Civil War, or backed him if he had managed to contest the Election?

In some accounts of the Battle of Celaya (15 Apr 1915) it is speculated there was one point where the Division of the North could've broken through Obregon's defenses and perhaps won the battle though with heavy losses. It is possible a coalition of Villa and Zapata might have prevailed under those circumstances. Even if that happened I fear Villa might ultimately turn on Zapata.

Alternatively in my Operation Unicorn TL the Germans abandoned the idea of reinstalling Huerta and have persuaded Obregon to forsake Carranza and form a secret alliance with Zapata (early May 1915 ie. post Celaya) in the hope of disrupting the flow of Mexican oil to Britain.
