WI: Egyptian style pyramids in Europe, West Africa, India, or China

If Ancient Egyptian style pyramids (as opposed to Mesoamerican style pyramids) were constructed in different places with different climates using local or mostly local building materials, how would they fare over time?

In wetter climates, would they erode and fall into disrepair due to rainfall? In areas that have less access to stone and tended to build using more available wood, would the stones of these pyramids have all been used up for construction throughout history or would they mostly remain intact?

And what would be the cultural effects of Egyptian-style pyramids in other locations, placing butterfly net on cultural divergences except for the direct effect of the pyramids?

They already exist in IRL. There is the Tomb of the various Emperors and Kings of China - which were Mastaba style mounds the same style of Djoser (the first Pyramid in Egypt). There is a Celtic tomb in Europe that has the same mastaba-style.
