WI Disneyland lets Khrushchev in and.....

So in September of 1959, Krushcev visits the US. One of his wishes was to visit Disneyland. There were massive security concerns , but he's allowed to visit the park.

While viewing one of the attractions, a shot rings out. The lucky bullet some makes it past the massive amount of security hitting the Soviet Leader in the head, killing him instantly.

The park is searched inch by inch for the assasin, nobody is found. The US government doesn't even have a clue who is behind this.

What happens to US-Soviet relations at this already tense time? And what happens to Disney?

Relations deteriorate further. Summits aren't held. Nobody gets surprised when Gary Francis Powers gets shot down over Soviet airspace. And massive debate in the US between those who want to see justice served and those in the anti-communist camp who want to protect the guy who did in Khrushchev and call off the inevitable investigations by federal authorities.

When Lee Harvey Oswald, an ex-Soviet citizen kills Kennedy the romurs fly around even more then they do now.

So a world where everyone thinks that the Soviet Union and America is on a race to kill the leader of their rival country.
