WI: Disney makes Prince of Egypt?

Let's say that the relationship between Eisner and Katzenburg is less strained and Katzenburg manages to get the ten commandants movie made how would Disney handle it and what would be the differences between it and Prince of Egypt?

Making the relationship between Eisner and Katzenburg less strained would be something of a Herculean feat. I'm pretty sure they aren't exactly on speaking terms even today.

One way to prevent Eisner and Katzenberg's fallout is to have Frank Wells survive the helicopter crash that killed him OTL. The fallout only happened because Katzenberg felt he was deceived by Eisner, who had allegedly named him his successor as company president.

Well we joked after that and Joseph Prince of dreams disney just launch a byblcial line forever(with Samson remplacing hercules)

I don't think Katzenberg becoming company president was ever on the cards as long as Eisner was chairman of the board; by all accounts, Eisner had a pretty low opinion of Katzenberg because he didn't like his attitude and, rather more pettily, didn't think Katzenberg was very intelligent because Katzenberg never graduated from university. In all likelihood, promising that Katzenberg would get Wells's job if Wells left the company (Wells's ambition was to run for Governor of California at some point) was probably just something Eisner said to get Katzenberg on board when the three of them went to Disney in the mid-80s.

Well, to add onto this idea, what if Disney decides to produce Prince of Egypt as their Best Picture oriented film rather then Pocahontas? Prince would come out in 1995 after Lion King, while Pocahontas is never made ITTL?

I actually read the title as "Disney made Prince of Egypt" - as in, Walt Disney was crowned monarch of that country. Now that would've been a hell of an AH challenge.
