WI: Dionysius II of Syracuse became the perfect Philosopher King?

Firstly, probably a much more stable syracuse (assuming plato's theories would work). This would probably have a variety of benefits, mainly growth in most areas - Population, Wealth, Prestige, Army, etc. All in all a stronger syracuse, and probably one that would be even more likely to foster minds like Archimedes.

The results probably leading to a more successful war with Carthage (assuming the Sicilian Wars don't just stop) - which could lead to unifying Sicily as a League, or as a single state. As a best result, throw in prestige to become Hegemon of Magna Grecia. Especially if Sicily leads them all against Carthage.

Assuming Plato has the theories right, and that would lead to a well governed state, then I'd see Hegemon of Magna Grecia/Italia, Ruler of Sicily, and at the very limits, He Who Burned Carthage (i.e. gutted the place in a raid, I don't expect him to keep it, we're talking a Philosopher King here, not Philip of Macedon).
