WI Different UK Election in 1874

In OTL, these were the results of the General Election of 1874:

Conservatives -- 350
Liberals -- 242
Irish Home Rule -- 60

So say 25 or more seats that OTL went for the conservatives go for either the liberals or home rule instead; what happens next?

Now, I realize in OTL, this more or less happened a decade later in 1885; Gladstone formed a coalition, introduced a Home Rule Bill -- and it failed, leading to new elections less than a year later. (The same thing happened in 1892, and Gladstone got another Home Rule bill passed -- only to have it fail in the House of Lords.)

Is it safe to assume that the same thing would happen in 1874, or would other factors -- like Disareli leading the oppostion -- open possibilities of a different outcome?

Its an interesting question because the Tory leader would still be asked to form a government as the leader of the majority party and try to bring in factions of the Liberals if it can

If it can't, then its the Liberals turn, with the Irish, but I can see immediate problems for them given that together they only JUST have a majority, and rather like today's coalition what the minority desperately want is not easily in the power of the other party to give - and the other party is IIRC not united in wanting it. Even a few defections breaks the coalitiion
