WI different 'low viz' for aircraft?

One of the things I llike about RAF aircraft is that they haven't totally removed the colour from their planes as they've gone low viz, at the very least they have the pastel pink/blue roundels.

So WI this was the norm? Firstly would there have been any realy impact on air warfare if planes had toned down but coloured markings? Secondly how cool would it be? (I'd love to see the USN Wolfpack sqn with toned down but coloured markings)

I'm wondering if you wouldn't get more "blue on blue" incidents...

When your a/c in WW2 are mainly in ground camo anyhow, I don't think the brightness of the markings made spotting them appreciably easier...

I think removing the white in markings would make regular marking low viz enough for dark aircraft. For lighter aircraft you may have to 'wash out' the colours and make them pastel, but either way I don't think many engagements since the 70s would have counted on identifying the national roundels.
