WI: Danish Republic following 1920 Easter Crisis

What if King Christian X of Denmark didn't back down during the Easter Crisis of 1920, leading to an overthrow of the Danish monarchy and the formation of a Danish Republic? Likely by a popular uprising rather than a military coup, as from what I know the army was largely royalist and nationalist. How would this affect events later on down the line? Would this threaten the monarchies in Sweden and Norway? Would this lead to earlier Icelandic independence?

I'm surprised there haven't been more threads about this, this is a rather underrated POD. The fact I'm one of the few non-Danes to know about this event might have something to do with that though

Civil war. The army would not sit by and let the mob overthrow the monarchy. Besides, many Danes agreed with the King that the border should be drawn further south.

Which could lead to a conflict with Germany. How would the League of Nations and the Former Entente Powers react to a German-Danish conflict in the 1920es ? A conflict between dearmed Reichswehr and Freikorps ob the one side and Danish Army in the other side.

I don't think that there would be German-Danish War. They changed border democratically in OTL. Even Hitler respected that.

And Germans hardly are willingful fight about small area after four years lasted bloodbath.
