Across the north sea, however, in early March of 1699, in mid-coitus between future King (and then Crown Prince) Frederick of Denmark and Louise of Mecklenburg-Güstrow, instead of the sperm that later became King Christian VI, one carrying an X-chromosome fertilized Louise's egg. As such, OTL King Christian VI is born that November as Princess Charlotte. Fast-forward a while, and Queen Anne of Great Britain begins looking for a wife for her son. Her husband then suggests his niece as a suitable candidate. Anne agrees, and in 1707 he brother-in-law Frederick V promises his daughter to his nephew once she reaches the age of 16. In spring of 1716, Charlotte and William are married. fourteen years pass, and no male heir survives to adulthood for Frederick V. As a result, upon Frederick's death in 1730, King William IV of Great Britain becomes King William I* of Denmark. Thoughts?
