WI: Crassus and Artavasdes joined forces?

The Battle of Carrhae is infamous in the annals of Roman military defeats, arguably alongside the butchering in Teutoberg Forest and the humiliating defeat at Cannae.

Prior to the battle, Artavasdes II of Armenia offered 16,000 cavalry and 30,000 infantry, as well as advising Crassus to go through the mountains to avoid the hot desert sun. Crassus rejected the offer and the King rode off into the sunset with his reinforcements.

But, what if Crassus listened? What if Crassus accepted King Artavasdes' advise and also took his offer of his reinforcements, what might the outcome have been for the man who wanted to replicate Alexander's conquests and the campaign against Parthia?

Possibly the screen of Armenian Calvary wards off the Horse Archers and Crassus watches how skillful both sides uses their respective Horse Armies....

Artavasdes does what he did to Mark Antony. He deserts and slips away back to Armenia at the time he is most needed. OTL, he did switch sides during Crassus' invasion.

Artavasdes was a shrewd leader. He knew to achieve the best possible position for his kingdom he needed to play the Parthians and Romans off each other. Neither could gain ascendency over the other in the region/.
