Hi all,
In OTL, Calvin Coolidge's youngest son died after a game of Tennis at the Whitehouse. As a result, Coolidge suffered from depression. I know the 1920's weren't too much of a demanding time to be president, but what if Coolidge had decided that the stresses of the presidency were too much for him after his loss?
Who'd be the likely republican nominee? Hoover perhaps? I imagine they'd beat Davis (or whoever their democratic aponent is)?
Assuming this happens, where do we go from there?
Discuss.
