WI: Constitutional Monarchy the "standard" government of the 21st century?

The majority of nations (both democratic and non-democratic) today are Republics of some sort. How could this be different with a POD as early as 1900? How could democratic Constitutional Monarchies be the "standard" government choice of the civilized world?

You mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make the majority of the world's nations be Const. Monarchies in 2008. Bonus points if it is as decisive of a majority as OTL Republics are.

For a start, one would probably have to remove WWI, or at least lessen its impact.

Next, have all (and I mean all) of Britain's colonies become either dominions or joined to existing monarchies and have them stay that way.

Thirdly, have a gradual decolonialism, with more large (con)federations formed out of colonies of the republics (Especially French colonies).

Even then, you might have a 50-50 split between monarchies and republics...:(

[zombie Analytical Engine] Must crush republicanism [/zombie Analytical Engine] :D

See my timeline, Austria: Never Forever Thy Past, I've been building to Constitutional Monarchies begin the government of choice in Europe and it will likely spread throughout the world(Mexico already has a restored Habsburg Monarchy and America doesn't have Cordell Hull in any position of power so his flaming anti-monarchism is negated).
