WI: Conduct of WW2 by Allies if Aus, Canada & S.Africa had same population as USA?

ATL Returning to the OP ..... if American population remains at 132 million and American GDP remains constant, with Australian, Canadian and South African population growing to match .... similar advances in farming and factories ..... the British Commonwealth would be strong enough to defeat the Axis without American support .... ergo no Lend Lease, no Breton Woods ...... and the British Commonwealth continuing to dominate global trade for another 50 years.

I am curious about levels of technological advancement. Would Canadian factories still licence-build British designs?
OTL During WW2, Canadian factories transitioned from British to American designs. This transition was partly driven by the slow flow of patterns, tools and parts from the UK.

ATL if Canada could produce as many machine tools as the USA, would Canadian factories continue building British pattern (tanks and airplanes), build American patterns or Canadian-designed patterns?
Would Canadian factories retain (labour intensive) British manufacturing jobs echniques or convert to (tool intensive) American techniques? For example: compare STEN submachinegun with American M3 Grease Gun SMG.

The world screams in agony as hundreds of millions of new people are suddenly created. South Africa becomes a warzone as food shortages rock the nation and Black African begin to revolt, as massive famines occur in Canada and Australia. Perhaps Canadians or Australians could be resettled in Africa or India, but considering the massive war going on at the time, nothing happens. The British empire slips into anarchy as the world watches on in horror.

As much as south Africa was a white supremacist society full fledged apartheid hasn't happened yet. The Africans in the cape have the vote, pass laws aren't as strictly enforced as they will be later, Perhaps the smuts United party government will use the mixed race, colored, and Indian community to create a Rhodesian Kenyan society still discriminatory and less rigid.
