WI: Coco Chanel convicted of collaboration?

During WW2 there is some evidence to suggest that Coco Chanel was a collaborator. After the war she was initially investigated but the case against her was eventually dropped, possibly under pressure from Winston Churchill who feared that she could end up implicating various members of British high society, including members of the Royal Family, as Nazi-sympathisers.

Regardless of the veracity of these claims what would be the consequences of her being convicted?

What impact will this have on French fashion?

What sort of sentence would she likely face?

Which figures in British high society could she implicate and what would be the consequences of that?

Death sentence? Or at least shaving the head and parading through Paris?
Most of the collaborators who were condemned to death had their sentences commuted during appeal. Even if she had been sentenced to death I can see the courts commuting it to a prison sentence. I feel that the authorities would be a bit squeamish about hanging a woman, especially one so well-known. Besides, from what I can tell, her collaboration wasn't exactly at the helping to commit war-crimes level.

Collaboration or getting close enough to learn German secrets? It depends upon which angle you approach it from.
You also have to consider the bigger question of whether Coco helped WALLIES more than she helped occupying Germans.
Finally, WALLIES still wanted to protect other spies, double agents, etc.
