I mean, is the reason one would associate a dark caramel-colored drink with the taste of Coca-Cola because that's how a dark caramel-colored drink should taste, or because Coca-Cola and Pepsi are that color and those drinks are just so well-known?I guess it would depend what sort of green it was - an opaque green drink would imply a minty flavoured taste whereas a transparent green drink you'd expect a fruity, zesty kinda taste. Colour is important to a product, otherwise why do they add dyes to items like jelly/jello which should otherwise be clear and transparent? Hell, there is/was Tab Clear which sank without a trace in Europe.
