WI: Classical Music vs. Modern Music

I was inspired by this cover musician: Marco Kasiske.

What if Classical Artists like Beethoven and Johann Strauss II produced the exact same melody and notes as modern Musicians like Flake Lorenz (Rammstein) or Phillip Glass (those two were off the top of my head, any any musician could do)?

Would Any butterflies occur?
If so what would they be? Cultural? Psychological?

Strauss was a romantic, not a classic, unlike Beethoven, who despite what the romantics would like to think of him was a committed classicist.

That said I mean: all of these artists have currents of their own, Glass is a modern minimalist and is quite obviously different from the metalheads of Rammstein. I suspect it wouldn't do much: early jazz was basically baroque music with more african american influences (although from a beat aspect, southern black music was closer to true baroque than the romantics and classicists were).

The biggest game changer for music, shifting it from a patronage system to an industry, was the introduction of the phonograph.

The addition of computers simply enhanced the shift of music.
