Winston Churchill had an affinity for Cuba and historical links with it, as detailed here. Churchill was also known for dreaming up 'inventive' (and often wacky) assassination/military plots on occasion.
So, what would have happened if Churchill, on such a whim, decided to order British intelligence to kill Castro during his second term as PM (1951-55) at the time when Castro was making major moves against the Cuban regime, the nation for which Churchill had an affinity for.
