WI: Christina of Sweden marries a Bourbon

What if Christina of Sweden marries Bourbon after she left Sweden, would her children claim the Swedish throne or would they stay in France?

Who were the bourbon princesses available to marry?;)

Seriously, if she refused to marry despite reasons of state when she was queen, why would she marry after? Let alone a royal?

I think the Duke of Orleans, that is if he becomes available.
I was thinking of a Capetian Dynasty in Sweden rather than the Bernadotte one...is that possible for a Capetian Dynasty to inherit Sweden..

Yes but.

1) she refused to marry when she was queen. Why would she marry after?
2) she was forced out for being RC in a lutheran country. Marrying an RC prince isnt going to help. Nor would any hypothetical children, who would be raised RC
3) she was probably lesbian, so it's really unlikely she would marry for love when she refused to marry for the state.
4) even assuming she found some guy to fall in love with, the odds are like a million to one against him being a bourbon prince.

Are you referring to le Grand Monsieur of le Petit Monsieur? Because she could be happy with the second after a fashion :)D) but she's way old for him by 17th century standards. Unlikely either way, and doubly unlikely that such a marriage would bear children.
