WI: Chile vs UK over the Falklands

Suppose that it was Chile which had the claim on the Falklands and that, without butterflies, they launch an invasion on the same date that Argentine did OTL.

1. Would Chile, with its military as it was in 1982, be able to invade in the first place?
2. Would Britain fare better, worse, or the same?

1) Invade yes against a company of marines it can deliver overwhelming force.
2) Lets think Falklands war but this time the opposing air force cannot get combat aircraft over the islands. Its also got a far weaker navy, mainly ww2 vintage ships with no carrier . Only really the modern stuff as a serious threat. So that's two submarines ( ex RN Oberon's ) and 2 Leander's ( officially Condell's but British built ,Chilean spec, Leander's , have Exocet's but AA is guns only). With no real way to resupply once the RN arrive, its a far easier victory for the UK.
