What if Charles XII took the Polish throne for himself and tried to spread Lutheranism in Poland?

I would suggest him appointing his nephew, Charles Frederick, who is Duke of Holstein-Gottorp and although at this point he is only three, he will have his mother, Hedvig Sophia of Sweden , as Regent .
 
You want a lutheranism spread by Swedish guy right after the Deluge? No way. The best chance for reformation in Poland was second half of XVI century, later counterreformation kicked in.

Yeah it's not going to happen. It's similar to the Charles XII marries a Habsburg thread. It overestimates Charles's stature and charm and underestimates how willing would be to placate him. The Poles hates the Swedes during this period. This less than sixty years after the Deluge and in the middle of the Great Northern War which Poland was caught in the middle of.
 
well sure, but not liking Saxons doesn't mean that they like Swedes, they're perfectly able to hate both with a vengence
