WI Central Lithuania remained united with Lithuania after WWI

In 1920 part of polish army staged a false coup and conquered lithuanian held area around Vilnius, creating Republic of Central Lithuania. In 1922 it was annexed by Poland. what if the coup didn't happen and Central Lithuania remained united with rest of Lithuania through 20s and 30s?

This "Greater Lithuania" would have in 1925 about 2 700 000 citizens, including 1 800 000 Lithuanians and 400 000 Poles, concentrated around Vilnius. Could it evolve into multiethnic polish - lithuanian state?

The problem would still be Big Bad Neighbor Poland. I doubt the Poles would allow Lithuania to keep Central Lithuania. More likely Poland would just attack and annex it at a later date.

They'd have to cozy up with someone, either Germany or the Soviets to keep the Poles from taking a bite.
