Possible Cabinet Members of the McGovern Administration
Alright, so, in order to make a good contribution to the board in some capacity, I have decided to pick up one of the timeline's I had shelved for some time, specifically that of the George McGovern Administration. I was tempted to go with that of the Alabama Governor which has had more work done upon it, but I don't wish to enter all the racial tensions that would result, nor be interpreted as being supportive of such an Administration. Rest assured, if this is well-received I will pick that one up as well.
Now, with the Presidency of McGovern I have a good Non-ASB path (at least one acceptable to most members) of getting him into the White House, and have already begun polishing off the old drafts and begun reworking them. However, as of now I am not sure how his Administration would go other than Southeast Asia which was the focal point when I began; to me, it depends a lot on who the members of his cabinet and their own perceptions versus his. Problem with that is I am not really sure who would agree to go into the Cabinet of their own accord since some would not want to be associated with McGovern, and I am having trouble coming up with names. As of now this is what I have:
Kevin White - Vice President
Edmund Muskie - Secretary of State
Wilbur Mills - Secetary of the Treasury
As I said I haven't been able to figure out much. Any ideas?
