WI: Bulgaria joins the allies, gets North Dobruja

Bulgaria OTL offered to surrender to the allies separately from Germany OTL. The allies insisted that they declare war on Germany and the Bulgarians didn't want to do that - so they got occupied by the Soviet Union.

What if Bulgaria had said they'd DoW if they could take North Dobruja from Romania? Romania was an enthusiastic Axis member IIRC.

Considering that the Romanians had also defected by late 44 I’d say fat chance
 
Probably not, though it is worth noting that Bulgaria is the only Axis power to actually expand as a result of the War.
 
You mean all of northern Dobruja to the Danube or the areas in pink and orange on the map below?
