WI- British keep the Floridas after ARW?

What if Spain doesn't join as an ally of France during the ARW (they were never an ally of the US btw), thereby the British keep West and East Florida. There's a difference between Americans revolting as the West Florida Republic (actually in modern Louisiana, not Florida) against Britain rather than Spain in OTL, and Andrew Jackson claiming Britain instead of Spain isn't controlling the Seminoles and thereby the US needs to intervene in East Florida. Adams-Onis Treaty can't give Florida to the US. Does the Treaty of 1818 with the UK give the US Florida? If so, what does the US have to give in this ATL in return?

Probably becomes a battleground in this TL's War of 1812. Jackson or someone similar tries to take it. The South would not want a haven for runaways so close to them.

If Britain holds onto it does it become a lingering point of contention between the US & UK? In OTL after 1812 the two did a good job of not pissing the other off too much.

Would an English territory there help the Cherokee in any way? Would they make Texas (if it happens in this TL) think about allying with Britain?

Do southern states think twice about seceding if there is an antagonistic British territory right below them? Or is Britain more likely to recognize the Confederacy as that may be in British Florida's best interests?
