WI Britain knew that Manila had been captured?

What if during the Seven Years' War, before the negotiations that led to the Treaty of Paris in 1763, Britain found out that Manila had been captured from the Spanish?

Short of discovering a tunnel through the center of the earth and dropping a message in a bottle through it how could they possibly know.

It would make little difference to the outcome of the Seven Years' War. The British already got New France and Florida in OTL.

The British had little control except Manila. It is hard to sustain an occupation vs Spain and its colonies in Asia. Besides having Spanish colonists, The locals were loyal to the Spanish. The Spanish can keep raising multiple 10,000 standing armies while the British are stuck until reinforcements come.
