WI Britain is successfully starved in either World War

Lets say in either world war, the Germans get a big naval victory over the British, and the Americans are for one reason or another unwilling to get involved. The result is that the Germans are able to enforce their naval blockade effectively. In WW1, I can see the British giving in fairly quickly. But in WW2, with so much more at stake, I reckon they'll struggle on for a bit, and rationing will get very bad. And maybe some kind of Commonwealth task force is assembled in the Atlantic to break the siege.

Britain is currently a net exporter of cereals, so retooling British agriculture to achieve the same result during the wars is possible. The diet will be blander, but there won't be starvation.

Well there is BlondieBCs 'Rise of the U-boat' timeline for the WWI.

As for the WW2 I really wonder how to bring this about? It is highly unlikely that Germany could ever fight the WW2 similar to the one fought OTL in a position that would make it possible for them to challenge RN and score major victory over it.

Wile I can't say about WW1, there was significant extra capability in the Free State that would be able to feed the UK, it would just take investment and support to get there.

You'd have to get the RM to be very successful and have the RN stretched by Japan as well as having the US more isolationist?... but its very implausible

Using modern farming methods. In 1914-18 and 1939-45 Britain could only supply about 66% of her domestic food requirements with all arable land under cultivation AND fertilizers can be brought in (Britain didn't synthesize all of her own necessary nitrates).
