WI Britain had lost the Hundred Years War

I know, I know, didn't France win that? Not really. Thanks to Joan of Arc, Britain was able to break off as an independent nation. If the guy based in Britain had won the dynastic struggle, the demographic powerhouse that was France would have quickly absorbed the Islands.

So what if Plantagenet had won its dynastic struggle?

First, its ENGLAND. Not Britain. The independent Kingdom of Scotland was at times on the side of France.

If Henry V had lost the war with the French, Charles VI of France might not have disinherited his son, the future Charles VII in favour of Henry. The Hundred Years war was not exactly a continuous affair. It was a series of intermittent conflicts which involved a vague and distant claim to the French Crown. By the 1400's, the Plantegenets and the nobility of England was quite self-consciously English, which would make French loyalty to their regime very precarious.
