WI: Britain and Ottoman Empire switch places in WWI?

Like a previous thread I made on a similar subject, (https://www.alternatehistory.com/fo...rld-war-1-french-and-germanic-changes.407740/), this is probably going to be ASB, but I would prefer to focus more on whether it's interesting or not.

The general idea is that Britain sides with the Central Powers in WWI (obviously before the Schlieffen Plan is activated, if it even exists), while the Ottoman Empire sides with the Allies. While I realize this is really implausible, you have to admit it would make for an interesting historical situation.

So, what do you think would have happened?

CP victory, France is beat down, Russia explodes like otl but in 1916 and the Turks still get carved up Italy doesn't switch sides so gets French colonies like Tunisia and central Africa for their troubles.

In short: The Central Powers probably win a very long and drawn out WWI.

Also, though, I actually don't think that this is completely ASB; after all, if WWI breaks out in 1917 (due to Austria-Hungary imploding as a result of a Hungarian secession attempt) and it looks like France, Russia, and Italy (Britain so far remains neutral in this TL) are going to win a quick victory over the Austro-Germans in this TL's WWI, the Ottomans might be persuaded to enter the war on the Franco-Russo-Italian side in order to get some of their debts forgiven and in order to get some economic aid. Later on, when Germany's situation is going to look very desperate, Britain might decide to enter the war on the Austro-German side (this might help if there were either less or no Anglo-German naval tensions in the pre-WWI years) and thus prevent Germany (and Austria-Hungary) from completely collapsing--instead allowing them to gradually regroup and eventually to push the French, Italians, and Russians back and to eventually win this war after a lot of fighting! :)
