WI Bomb available a month earlier

Had the Atomic attacks on Japan happened a month earlier would Japan have surrendered. In OTL The surrnder followed the bombs and the Soviet declaration of war?

If Japan fought on until the Soviet declaration of war how much bigger would their influence have been?

If Japan surrendered earlier does this butterfly North Korea?

Does it change events in China?

It depends a lot on how Japan fought on. If the Emperor was behind the decision then not a lot changes. If the Emperor is confined for making the "wrong decision" in advocating surrender then potentially Japan ends up fighting to the bitter end as there is nothing the hold back the more extreme elements of the Japanese leadership.

If Japan folds immediately then I still don't see a lot changing. It took the US until September 8th our time line to land in Korea which is c. 25 days after the Japanese surrender. Applying a similar delay to an early bomb scenario means that the bomb would need to drop before 12th July for US troops to be in Korea prior to the Soviet invasion if it kept to our schedule. Practically there were troops on the border in any event so sufficient Soviet occupation troops were already available for an earlier bomb drop.
