Bohemia never becomes subordinated to the HRE, but the HRE still exists (ie, the stem duchies in Germany and Lotharingia at least still form into an HRE on OTL's schedule and stay in a common empire)

Must be a different Hohentocfh house and Bohemia going far different HRE affairs since 1000 the rest is pausable, the 'King of Bohemia' was not one of the original electors so that can be already done.

The integration of Bohemia into the HRE was a long process from the fall of Great Moravia to being confirmed by HRE Henry II in the earlier 11th century, when you affirm that the HRE still forms in schedule (961) Bohemia was already deep in Imperial/Saxon sphere being not only a tributary but a vassal in all but name, and when the Premyslids unified the Czech tribes he went to the Emperor for some legitimacy and consolidation, so you have the Bohemians already in Imperial pocket long before 1000.

A good way to avoid it (and have the HRE still existing) is during the initial Polish invasions in 1004 to succeed, with Bohemia being absorbed in Poland for time being, with the Poles expelling Imperial attempts to recover Bohemia for the Premyslids. Give some time, have the Polish realm to fragment more or less and the Czech re-establish their Duchy/Kingdom in the same fashion as Hungary, the interruption of Imperial rule should be enough to make both the HRE and the Czech elites to prefer independence over vassalization.

Its going to be difficult for Bohemia to avoid being defacto apart of the USE even if it isn't dejure apart of it.
